West central missouri | It all depends on how much movement you can tolerate. You can use it like it is, but most will pull their head up and get out of the nose bar if it is only held with the chain. A strong person can hold the nose bar and move up and down with the animal and keep more in the nose bar. If you need them to be really still you need a head table and I don't know how to put one on an auto catch. I have a chute exactly like yours with a manual head gate that has a head table. If you can engineer a way to attach the table to the outermost upright pipe it should work. Make sure the head table is swung open when you catch one and it should work. | |
