This is hearsay from what i consider a reliable source, a professional person working in service occupation, who had the Christian insurance for several years and had to use it for an unexpected heart condition. The way he described the situation to me is that he had to pay the 40K bill then submit it to the "insurance" committee. They looked at his income as a basis as to what they would pay. Decided that he could afford to pay out of pocket for his care and thus did not pay any of the bill. If the bill had been higher say 100k would they have paid any towards it? dunno. So better do some thorough research before you leap. On medicare so no dog in the hunt.
