Washington Co Ks | I was told that in Ks you can keep your home but I don't know if you can if you are not living in it. However the amount you receive in aid becomes a lean on the property and the state will recover it when the estate is settled. They don't take the house itself you just have to come up with enough money to cover the value of it. They don't really care who buys it as long as it brings a fair price. If a family member wants it they can buy it. | |
