The drain field(septic) may only barely be keeping up as is. The kitchen sink may push it over the threshold. Unlikely though.

Also, depending on your layout, you may have to ditch through concrete floors just to get it connected. Probably not worth it if that's the case.

An old house(1840's) on the farm has the kitchen sink drained to a nearby ditch. Long after that was done, bathrooms and a septic were added, and they drained out the other side of the house. The kitchen still drains to the ditch for simplicity.
