My perfect day is around the 1st of October, the sky is crystal clear, its 75 degrees with no humidity. I'm shelling corn on a nice square 40. The corn is making a bit over 200 bu/ac (not more because I am still in southern IL) and my son and wife volunteer to do all the trucking for the day. This leaves me to do the best job on the farm, shelling good corn.
