Subject: 2018 orange and green pics from eastern Iowa


NE Iowa		The year started off late with April snow. Crammed the nh3, tillage and corn planting in same week.

The summer started dry but then persistent rains made waterway and alfalfa hay a grueling task.

Fall was wet, stuck the combine and then a wagon trying to get hopper empty. Resulted in using a grain vac.

Put auto steer on the 7060 this year with an ATU. Sure made nh3, planting, and tillage a breeze. Also had to split it for a torque limitter failure.

Edit: last 2 pics, can't forget breaking my finger while getting the feederhouse drive shaft out of the combine. That shaft is heavy!
