Central Illinois
Wild Card, My wife just had hers today. She got through without issues. She could not eat certain foods the week before the test. She also had to take a laxative once a day for 3 days before the test. The prep you drink is not bad. You drink 16 ounces of prep then 32 ounces of water. You do that at 6:00pm the night before and then again 6 hours before your appointment. No water or anything 4 hours before your test. Of course you go until everything is out after each drink of prep. Your back door can get sore from all the wiping.

She was lucky, they quit using the meds that caused me to keep asking questions over and over. I don't know what it was called but it was nasty until it wore off later that night.

The doctor also said, if your father or mother had colon cancer after the age of 60, you still only have an average chance of colon cancer. Just go by what your doctor advises.

Get your rear in the clear.
