Northeast Iowa | Not being nosy at all. I was born without my left hand, still have a wrist and somewhat of a palm. For me it's like the old saying that you can miss what you never had and I try to apply it my life daily.
There's enough bellyaching in this country as it is in my opinion.
I'm somewhat similar to your grandfather in pics just because it is something that can be a distraction or maybe draw unwanted attention. (Other than my agtalk handle) Lotta folks have it worse than I ever will.
As far as work I have few moments that a need an extra set of hands to help otherwise I get by fine. Honestly friends and family will forget about it sometimes when we're working together.
