“These are the times that try men's souls.” | Thanks for posting these results on Herefords. But in my opinion they beat them up on price if weaned and cleaned up calves. Thirty or more dollars back on price it looks to me from what I sold calves for in December, and even further off from pre contracts in last July. When I sold last of my light calves in December Herefords at sale barn in my area was around 20 bucks back off black cattle. My opinion is very few operations can afford to take that kind of hit on prices long term. |
