NE kansas | A lot of what oldtiger said. Born, raised with and still have reg Herefords(mostly polled). Only seen 3 Herefords prolapse in my life, two were sisters so obviously genetic. Always heard how it was a huge problem but luckily dad stayed away from the showring and didn't bring in those problems. Chasing the exotics and trying to be something they were not hurt the breed as bad as anything. Currently, EPD breeders that don't know a good animal is hurting us but I think that is happening in every breed. Had 3, black, sale barn beauty queens prolapse as well so it happens in other breeds as well. | |
