Subject: RE: Trager grill

Valley, NE
i always think of my trager as an oven that produces smoke, purposely. I have found out that if you can keep your temperature steady, I have similar time frames as if it was in my oven, sometimes just a little longer. You're going to love the ease of smoking and setting it and walking away from it. I have found out with mine that before every use, I shop-vac all the dust and clinker ash out of the bottom.

I have also found out (the hard way) to not use cheap pellets. I still have a pile of cheap pellets from menards that just dont seem to feed well through my trager. So I only go with trager brand through mine. Maybe my machine is just finicky.
