Used to do it quite a bit. Just used the homemade ice cream maker. I altered the recepie so that it doesn't turn into a block of ice in the freezer. I basically used whole milk for the amount it called for and used only cream where it called for cream and half and half. It's rich and not for those watching their girlish figure but it sure is good. We always have some ice cream pails around so straight into the pail and into the freezer to keep it from getting too hard.
