Bosch has paid for a lot of whole house fire remediations. Google Bosch dishwasher fires. My brother in-law and his wife would have lost their entire home if someone had not been home and the fast response from a neighbor who happens to be in their towns fire department. The state fire marshal told them that fires from these just keep on happening. Bosch has made little effort to notify their customers that these dishwashers are a fire hazard.
If you google any brand of dishwasher and put “fire” in the search, you’ll find that every company has had a dishwasher fire issue.

That’s Whirlpool, Kenmore, Frigidaire, Electrolux and others all wrapped up in one lawsuit.
Point being, anything electronic will have a faulty machine here and there and could catch fire, it’s not a Bosch exclusive issue, nor are there more of them. |
