North Iowa | I am considering buying some 5 wt heifers and backgrounding them would like to have some sort of protection to sell as 8wt yearlings in the spring what does everybody like to do ? Banker and myself does not want to run naked. I am new to the backgrounding thing so have no experience with marketing with it. I typically finish out all my cattle but think tier is opertunity to make some money backgrounding and not tie up pens and money for so long. | |
