NC Indiana | They counted 150 head of deer in 3 hours here, how many do you have? If you cows know hot wire you'd be ok. Issue will be you need 2 wires because of calves. We run 1 line of poly on 3/8" x 5ft fiberglass post belt high on 15 large step spacing with T post on the corners to winter cows then add a wire when we start calving. Might put the wire back up once or twice first week - but the cows are too busy to notice-, and usually good for the winter and this includes the snow plow throwing snow on it all winter. Otherwise your looking for over priced straw or get your shredder out and close your eyes. | |
