Texas | Without seeing it in person it is hard to say if there are any options but if it is as you describe there is not much you can do. If your line of sight is blocked it is blocked.
I don't know if they will do anything but it sure would not hurt to talk to the highway department. Don't go there all angry just explain the situation that you had an established entryway there for however many years and when they raised the bridge and and added the guardrail you can no longer see and what are their suggestions. They might be willing to help you put in a new entry in a different spot. I can't say for sure they are obligated to but it seems like you didn't have a problem until they did their recent work. It would probably go a long way if you could get one of them to meet you out there and go to the drive themselves to see the problem firsthand. | |
