Subject: 600C snapping rolls

Waldron, MI
How many acres per row is a reasonable amount on a set of snapping rolls? I have 2 rows on my 608C that are worn far more than the rest of the rows and can't figure out why. It was causing those rows to plug frequently this fall especially in damp conditions. I welded them up a little which helped but want to replace them before next year. I have factory opposed knife rolls now but am thinking about going a different direction with the replacements. Whats everyone's favorite? I'm thinking about John Deere inter meshing knife rolls, 360 chain rolls, and Chalmers.
