Do you just drive down a row or two with a 4 wheeler or ranger when moving the wire? Here moving a wire in standing corn would resemble a blonde in a corn maze.

Years ago like in the late 60's my grandfather fed a lot of sheep. He got in 2 train car loads out of Texas (he said they were just dieing to get here). He chopped all the end rows off and around a 60 acre field of corn for silage and left the rest of the rows standing. Dads job was to take the old biscayne (ex-cop car) out and drive down a row of corn every morning before school....(and pull thier heads out of the woven wire). At night they fed them some alfalfa. Gramps sold the lambs right after New Years. Said they made more than the cattle with half the work.
