Subject: RE: W900B horn update

SW Ohio
My 1985 had the trumpets rusted clear through. I bought new Hadleys same as the old ones and replaced the whole thing. Yes had to remove or in my case, chop a hole in the headliner to get to the air line, and beware-hadley uses some goofy thread on the horn that requires their own adapter, unless you can reuse your old ones or tap a more common thread. i took the covers off the front of the rectangles and used that to cover my holes in the headliner, looks good enough to pass for 'cool". We have another set off a 72 freightshaker that i took apart, the reed is adjustable to give different tones, some are some aren't.
