SE MT | Never had much luck long-term storage by having a pyramid string side down. Better off to make a stack where bottom two Bales on end, then a three Bale pyramid on top of them. . For Less spoilage just do single Bale on end single Bale on top string side down. The top Bale will squat some and water will drip off the sides. If you want you could tarp it.
Putting Bales in pyramids just causes snow and rain to collect in the creases between the rows just like a funnel. I always figured the more Bales you could put on end the better | |
