Stay away from auctions. Back when I started farming I bought stuff cheaper off dealers lots then auctions.

X1,000. Usually better shape too. For example there was a Massey 6180 on auction yesterday that was supposed to be "well maintained ".
The piece of junk had a hole cut in the floor board with the heater hoses running through it up to a rigged up radiator with a fan to blow warm air and, a rat's nest wiring job. It really annoys me with the amount of time I have wasted at auctions.
