SW Iowa
Looking at seeding some alfalfa next year, used Cropland seed years ago and had good luck. Fertility is good as is drainage too (in SW Iowa). Would possibly want to put oats and brome grass with it.

And at what rates? Years back ended up being 25-30lbs/ac in a small field because one bag wasn’t enough and two was to much so kept seeding till drill ran empty. Dam expensive but the tonnage produced was really good.

Thanks!
