What you need is a straight alley, at least 2 criter lengths long. Then a small pen with a gate behind it. Behind that a larger pen with a gate, or portable panels that can be pulled shut. Behind that, a wing to get them started, about 12 ft from fence. Best if wing goes to about 12 ft from a corner. Best if it is a corner they tend to go to..

I Just added a wing in one of my corrales to make it easier to get them in the next corral. a 16 ft wire cattle panel $20. Gate swings to one end. 8 ft post at each end, 2 _6.5ft post in middle. Another chunk of 8 ft wire cattle panel that can be swung around between mounted cattle panel & a bale ring. Should have did it 30 years ago, it helps do much!

Pay attention to where they want to go, use that to your advantage.

Tubs & bud boxes are nice, but can get spendy for small operator.

My tub is made with post about every 4 ft and two layers of wire cattle panels ,& a 10 ft gate.
