NE ND
Have a 5020 in the shop we've had since new. Jacked up front end today and noticed lots of play in front axle pivots. Pulled axle out and pin is quite worn and bushings were about paper thin. Caught it just in time.

Has anyone welded these pins up before and ground them down? My worry is they are ultra hard and may not weld well. A new front pin is like $240 and the rear one is no longer available. Tractor maybe gets 100 hrs per year. I've ordered the bushings as they need R&R.
