SE MN | I just picked up two of these monitors about 2 months ago and am very impressed with them. They have a resolution of 1440, which is a very noticeable difference between my old 1080P monitor, which is what I mounted on top of my new monitors. I went with the 32" because that is what I had before (two 32" tvs), but when I bought them they were on sale for $349 each, which happens regularly. I do have a window behind my chair, but its never in direct sunlight. They have a matte finish, so I highly doubt that it would cause the amount of glare that you get from your current setup. The main reason I wanted such big monitors was because I work with Excel a lot and split screen with two spreadsheets side by side is awesome with this setup.
