Ontario | I have found that the newer tanks that are vented do not store as long as the old tanks with just the filler cap as a vent. Walk by the new tank and the smell of gas is quite strong where as didn't notice it as much with the old ones. We go through about 300 gal every 4 months. Vehicles don't start as good towards the end of that time period. Doesn't seem to affect mileage. I've covered one of the vents and that helps a bit. | |
