Columbia City, Indiana
40 pound bag of cat food about every 3 weeks lol.

We’re up to around 30 cats, always seeing them hunting, even back in the woods 1/4 mile or more from the barn. Rarely if ever see a mouse, almost never see a rat, like twice in the 6 years since we moved to the farm.

I used to think you needed to keep them hungry so they would hunt to eat, I’ve since learned you need to feed them about what they’ll clean up and they hunt because they like it and it’s their instinct. When Grandpa lived here he dumped way too much cat feed, it was always out, they got fat and lazy and we had lots of mice.
