Michigan - Saginaw County
Sho-nuff does make them money to finance. Bought the wife a brand new Outback a year ago. Haggled the price down by phone. Came in ready to write a check and leave. Salesman looks at me, looks at the checkbook on the table in front of me, frowns and says, "If you take the zero down, zero interest loan, I will give you another $1500 off." It took him another 35 minutes of us going through that loan contract word by word before I agreed (the too good to be true, rule)

Where I see the lender (not the dealer) make it up is if a payment is even one day late then the full amount is due and there is 24% interest on the loan from Day One. Wifey has been bending my ear about paying this loan off because she is paranoid about a payment going astray in the mail. I spoze I should, but watching her sweat has its own rewards.
