SC WI | Was a thread in stock talk that got me thinking what other guys opinions are on the matter is it a "dick" move to bale stalks the last year of a lease & sell them or not? I haven't done it, with what I hear stalk bales are bringing it could be the only profit a guy makes on some ground.
Seems to be a practice I hear about when competing farmers that don't like each other take the others ground, but maybe they're most vocal about it because of there dislike for the other. Maybe it depends on if it was malicious or not, I know I probably wouldn't get up in arms if someone did it to me, then again I probably wouldn't do it to another guy either but more so because it's not a practice I use now & have no use for baled stalks. | |
