This Intermatic T103 is an "indoor timer" that Dad had the local electrician wire up with larger cables and heavy-duty 120 volt plugs. Works Great. Rated at 40 amps {Dad did this after finding one typical lightweight "household" timer, burnt at wall socket ,one morning before he feed cows. Got lucky that no fire got started. It was used for tractor 1500 watt coolant heaters} https://www.amazon.com/Intermatic-T103-120-Volt-Mechanical-Switch/dp/B000LDIDBY/ref=pd_sim_60_4?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B000LDIDBY&pd_rd_r=b8517763-fca5-11e8-b831-4be24321ce2d&pd_rd_w=FwxLC&pd_rd_wg=Iq3bQ&pf_rd_p=18bb0b78-4200-49b9-ac91-f141d61a1780&pf_rd_r=E85P4T74C2EJ9H5F4KGH&psc=1&refRID=E85P4T74C2EJ9H5F4KGH Edit: If I was to build a 2nd one; I would just buy a HD 12 Ga, extension cord (say 6 to 12 ft long) and cut it in half, then wire this "timer box" in the middle.
