NW Washington | You have to force no-till openers into the soil which means you need sharp blades and weight and you have neither with and old end wheel drill. In a pinch you you could hitch your drill behind a light disc or cultivator and do a half way decent job of seeding things like cereal crops. It won't be pretty, but the crop will come up and do well.
An ag engineering professor once told me that seeding wheat is easy, even a combine can do it. | |
