Eagle River Ontario Canada

What kind of dirt do you have up there? Just looking at Google Maps of Eagle River area and you guys got lots of water around...

We had a CaseIH 5400 drill on a caddy a few years back. Tried no-till but it didnt work for us at the time. We switched to a 12/23 1200 planter for beans/corn. We still conventional till our land as no-till on our clay doesn't seem to work. I am looking at getting some spiked closing wheels for our planter.

Had the neighbors no-till in our wheat the past couple years. Wheat seems to not care as much when it comes to no-till.

Its a mix of grey clay/ clay loam, The eagle river/ dryden area is a clay belt that has alot of water scattered through out.
