| Soil types must come into play because here a 2 track will destroy a tire machine in normal conditions. Yes if it's frozen or you tile in circles yes the articulated tire machines are better but normal conditions I am talking. We run a 15 yrd scraper and our 2 track will boil the dirt over the top and our wheel tractor of equal size can rarely get it full most times and to do that it's spinning 20%+. I want to get a tile plow and I am trying to decide which tractor to use. I thought our 865D was the obvious choice with good weight, low 1st hear, and amazing low end torque but the odd comments i find how 2 tracks are no good for tiling has me worried! I also cant understand why all big commercial plows are 2 tracks if articulated is the only way to go.
