What kind of EGT's are you seeing with that much boost? And are these 12.7 or 14L? I have a PP box on my 2000 DDEC4, and if I try and run anything above 2, my exhaust temp is off the charts. Running on 2, I run about 32-34 boost unless it's -20.

They are both 12.7's. Ones is a 91(DDEC III) and the other is a 92 (DDEC II). The 92 runs the most boost and runs the best, it tops out around 800 deg at the very most and doesn't over heat even on a 100 deg day. The 91 will run just above 900 and will start to overheat motor if your in a good pull but I think it also needs a new radiator. Erich told me that a DDEC II truck will have the most power gain and keep the boost above 30 psi to keep egt's down.
