Elmwood, Ne. Just East of Lincoln | Southeast Ne. has more corn and beans left at this time of year than I've ever seen. Way too many beans for the weather we're having. I think a lot of guys did their corn first after last years high winds and blown over corn. Then we had a extra wet last half of October and start of November followed by earlier than normal significant snow. To top it all off, we had 1 1/2" of rain before the last snow last weekend. It needs to melt the snow and then freeze so it will be firm enough to go. Not a good situation. |
