Subject: Floor heat - propylene glycol

east central ND
Getting the supplies lined up for putting in boiler and filling the pex tubing in my little shop addition. Boiler manufacture says to use propylene glycol. Fine. Went shopping. There is floor heat propylene available, and then I looked at much cheaper RV antifreeze which is also propylene glycol. Are the “additives” in the spendier version that is labeled for pex floor heat needed? Propane micro boiler manufacture does not want ethylene glycol (car antifreeze). Would save about $150 using cheap stuff. Looking for some free education. Might not be worth the savings?
