Just looked it up. Crash and burn insurance on my sprayer based on actual value and environmental cleanup up to $100,000 for a spill based incident cost me $0.22an acre last year. Added a $3000000 umbrella policy that we think will take over after that lets off for only $1,400 additional dollars, included in the .22

Some would say run without it but my pockets aren't that deep 100% loss on the sprayer or $100,000 clean up Bill would pretty much put me out of business.


I would check and make certain that your umbrella will pick up over your $100,000 limit. Many umbrellas require a higher limit ($500,000) for the underlying coverage before it picks up. Better to find out now then after a possible claim. I'm sure you don't want a $400,000 deductible.
