Schochoh Ky
I would build the bigger bin and put a set of stirring screws in it. It seems we battle harvest weather almost yearly . Think our next bin or set of bins will be 36 foot ,25-30 thousand bushel capacity with stirs and heaters. Most here store soft wheat harvested in June , until Jan - Mar time frame and usually don't have enough storage for all corn and beans. We've been filling our wet bins and emptying them this year almost weakly during soybean harvest. Probably left enough money on table from docks on moisture and double handling to make a nice down payment on new bins. Utilize the fsa bin loan program if possible, think the interest rate is about 3.5 percent.
