Subject: RE: Howe’s diesel treatment

Nashville, IL
If you had a fuel supplier fill the tank it should be treated already. Your map dot isn’t farm from me. We don’t add any additional treatment to our fuel. We have a 1000 and a 600 gallon tank. It comes properly blended from our supplier. Our off road comes in semi loads. They blow 5 gallon of treatment into it when they fill the tank. Usually don’t have problems with it either, as we go thrust a semi load about every 3 weeks during harvest and planting, then about every 5 weeks rest of year. Only time we had problems was when it got down below zero for several days at a time, and we had some fuel that didn’t get treated.

I guess what I’m trying to say is you might not need to treat the fuel at all. I’d check with your supplier to see what it was treated down to.
