Fuel treatments work best when added to warm fuel. 50°+ So if in the dead of winter it's 10° out and you're trying to draw fuel from the tank and treat it...it's not gonna do much for you. Find a point where the fuel in the tank is as warm as you can get it and put the treatment in the overhead tank. It won't settle.
