Subject: RE: Gleaner N5 discharge plugging in corn

Maybe not related at all but on an R62 in snowy corn the return elevator plugged at the top where it dumps back into the rotor. BUT the spreader light came on cause it was backed up as well. The return elevator and spreader share a shaft that runs all the way thru the machine. As soon as I pulled a little bit out of the top of the return elevator, the spreader cleared right up. I have realized if the spreader light comes on more than likely it is actually the return elevator. May not be your problem at all but thought I'd throw it out there.
