Ok, thanks for your call, for all my listeners out there including Bonpas, a widening trade deficit is not a worry in my eyes. Maybe it just means we are very wealthy? Maybe it just means we are big spenders with credit cards? (there will be a day of reckoning on that by the way). Irregardless, a tariff is just a tax on the citizens of the country levying the tariff! Nothing more, nothing less. So Trump is bragging how much the fed has collected on the tariffs, right? Whose pocket did that money come from that the fed collected? | |
