To me it looks like a wash between owning and leasing.

If you take the CaseIh 340 and purchase it it will depreciate 20-25,000 in the three years and 900 hours, minimum.  Then you still have interest on a 150-160,000 dollar purchase with no warranty.  Actually you might come ahead on the lease if you want that new of a tractor.

People forget that there is depreciation and interest in anything you buy, unless you want to go 20-30 years old.
