Used to use Lilleston gangs for cleaning ridges, let us know how those work as closing wheels, I think they might move too much dirt try them left right and backwards before you give up. As Archer noted I think they have more potential in front as cleaning wheels. When your in clay soils and notill eventually you will have pallets of closing wheels as your soil changes structure and you try to keep up with what works best. When you get into some kinds of rubbery stiff clay anything but factory wheels work better.
