Subject: Bi-directional vs skid steer

Paradise KS
Would a bi directional compare to a skid steer at all? I realize there is quite a bit of size difference. Been set on a skid steer for awhile, but got to thinking a bi-di might be more practical. Not really going into tight spots so much, could be used for other bigger jobs as well, can drive itself to the job.

Would use a skid steer for building fence, (post hole auger, mowing, wrapping wire and pulling posts) moving seed and chemical around, maybe moving bales.
