If you are going that route,  .8# actual N per bushel will get you where you want to go. I don't know what your OM is but that is worth 20# per point, so I really think you could go lower and save more if  you chose.



If planted corn after single crop beans would feel more safe playing with.8 lb per bu number @ the starting gate.. All my corn acres are planted after either corn or wheat- double crop beans.

Am dealing with a lot of trash digesting so error on the side of caution and figure 1 lb per bu @ the starting gate. Year like 2018 at the finish line was close to .8 lb per bu. Highest yielding fields was less than.8
