As far as the PAMI tests go, the JD was on its second series of the same basic machine, Id have hoped they had it figured out by then! IH did get the 14 series basically right from the get go, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. The N was new and it was probably rushed to production, but they got the kinks worked out and they've been damn good ever since. Youre not comparing apples to apples with the 8820 and the N6.
