i bet if you explained it like tractor ownership to a farmer it would be different. 'i am going to sell you this here tractor, then after you write the check and have all the physical part of it bought i am going to make you sign a document that says to make it functional you have to give us the right to take everything you produce with this tractor'. 'since we are the ones working on it, its really ours'
I can’t tell if that is sarcasm or not, knowing the state of new car, tractor, combine sales we buy the lump of scrap iron to own, the manufacturer is retaining ownership of the software that makes any of the lump do anything worthwhile?
