Could we blow through our soybean supply by replacing petroleum with soy oil?

It would seem ethanol matches the gasoline side of things, soy oil matches the diesel and heating oil side of things. Blends with conventional petroleum seem better than straight bio fuels, at least as we use current vehicles on the road.

And a lot of non fuel uses probably best come from old fashioned petroleum.

That would probably affect the numbers some.

Minnesota is using B5 and B20 diesel fuel now, it does work. Not sure what other states are doing?
