| I'm thinking that somebody like Louie Drefuss or Bunge sent a offer to a Chinese buyer last night at certain price but doesn't actually own the beans. Remember last night was actually late afternoon China time. They would want to make sure that they were protected against a price jump until the buyer confirmed. If the buyer accepts the price then the exporter will set about buying the beans and liquidating the position as the beans are bought. | |
